Russian Air Force Museum at Monino
One of the biggest aviation museums of
the World is situated in the big pine forests of Russia
in Monino, about 38 km east of Moscow. In fact the area
is too small for this huge collection. In some areas the
aircrafts are standing in an un-orderly manner and even
on top of each other. There are more than 170 aircrafts
on exhibition.
I hope that the museum will be able to
enlarge the area in the future.
Also I hope that the museum will get the
opportunity to maintain the aircrafts in the future. The
aircrafts is unfortunately marked by the weather from
standing in the open.
After these remarks it is my hope that
every aircraft enthusiast will get the chance to
visit this unique museum, which apart from aircrafts
displays the history and development of Russian
aviation.
